At
IPC we offer a well-balanced curriculum based on the child's age and stage of
development. To expand your child's early development we offer many activities
that reinforce the work in the classroom. For a detailed curriculum outline
please contact us or visit the 'Curriculum' page.
We
offer a range of special activities for the children. At both campuses we have a purpose built Activity Room for Music & Movement, Drama, Physical Development by Baba-grow (Nursery) and Mind& Body Balance (Kindergarten). We have a fully equipped Art Room, Pottery
Room, Cooking Room, Computer Room/Library and many many more! Come and have a splash in our Beach Club Paddling Pool! Please visit our 'Special
Activities' page to find out more. Our garden area and
play ground provide space for the Water Fun Centre and the Nature Corner where
the IPC tortoises live and of course for the children to have free play (pictures
can be found on the 'Main
Grounds' page.) Children are under constant supervision
for their safety and well being.
We offer a great variety of afterschool activities as well. We have our Afternoon Classes running in English, Thai, German, French and Mandarin. The IPC Club House offers morning, afternoon and Saturday activities such as Ballet, Football/ soccer, Baba-grow (gymnastics & more), Cooking, Art, Drama, Science, Circus Fun, Music and Playgroups.
We
offer the children snacks mid-morning in class. The teachers use this
opportunity daily to stress self-help, sharing and good table manners.
Children prepare their own snacks if possible (i.e. spreading jam and butter
on bread). We offer a rotating selection of nutritious snacks including
fruit everyday.
Air-conditioned
buses provide transport in certain areas. Monitors are provided for safety.
These buses operate independently of IPC. Please contact us for availability
and more details.
What
is the policy on my child taking an extended leave of absence or a vacation?
IPC
operates in a three term system (end of August - December, January - Mid April,
Mid April - early July). Early July - August the school stays open and offers a
special summer school programme. The school is open all year round except for
2-3 weeks over the Christmas period and two weeks the the Thai New Year.
At IPC we strictly limit the number of children per class and we also have a
waiting list of children wanting to join us.
We encourage parents to take their vacation during our school holidays as we do not give "make up" days for missed days.
